Food for Thought Project - FAU
For the Food for Thought project, I was the liaison, budget coordinator, and meal innovation coordinator. As the liaison, I was responsible for facilitating information among project stockholders including relaying information from Feeding South Florida to supervising professor, teammates, and the Florida Blue liaison. Communicating to many project stockholders presented me with the perfect opportunity to hone in my skills of communication.
I learned to…
-
Write brief and direct emails to facilitate clear communication between project stockholders
-
Take notes from meetings to keep record of information
-
Ask relevant questions to gain important for proper execution of project

House of Representative
Serving in the Student Government House of Representatives has been instrumental in shaping me into a more effective communicator. Through this experience, I've honed my ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, whether advocating for student interests or collaborating with fellow representatives. Engaging in debates and discussions has sharpened my critical thinking skills and taught me to express myself with confidence and conviction.
